Cornus kousa Scarlet Fire® (‘Rutpink’) #PP28,311 features huge, dramatic, deep pink to fuchsia bracts on a sturdy, disease resistant small tree. A real stunner in late spring, the big, showy bracts stand out against the rich green foliage. Prior to the showy flowers, early spring leaves emerge streaked with purple. Later, after the summer flower show, purple pink fruits swell and become attractive to birds for a delicious summer treat. Autumn brings red to purple leaf color to finish the season.
