Blue Velvet™ St. John‘s Wort Hypericum 3 Gal

The attractive small-leaved foliage of Hypericum x Blue Velvet™ is set off by lovely bright yellow flowers for an extended period in mid summer. The silvery blue-green foliage is fragrant and finely textured. Bright red berries are an added bonus in fall.

Use this as a small color accent in the garden or in outdoor pots and containers. The flowers are excellent for cutting.

This shrub does best in full sun to partial shade. It prefers dry to average moisture levels with very well-drained soil. It is considered to be drought-tolerant, and thus makes an ideal choice for a low-water garden or xeriscape application.
