William’s Pride apple is complex and sweet with notes of pear. This is a delicious and easy-to-grow early-season apple, and it also has an extended bloom (early through to late-mid), making it a great pollinator. The long bloom time may also help provide fruit despite frosts. Fruit ripens very early (early July), red-purple apple with a fragrant floral sweetness. It comes from the Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois (PRI) breeding program and is resistant to fireblight, powdery mildew, cedar-apple rust, and field immune to scab. Everyone should have a Williams Pride tree in their yard or farm.
Rootstock: MM.111
Flowering group: 2*
*Flowering group indicates bloom period for cross-pollination. All the apple trees we carry will need cross pollination from another (different) apple tree. For best pollination, choose 2 or more trees that have the same Flowering group or an adjacent group. For example: Flowering group 3 tree can be pollinated by groups 2, 3 and 4
