'Aphrodite' is more compact than the species, typically growing 6-8’ (less frequently to 10’) tall. It features ruffled, thick-petaled, clear pink single flowers (to 4” diameter) with a dark red eye. This cultivar produces little to no seed.
Excellent flowering shrub that may be massed, planted in groups or used as a specimen. Good for foundations and shrub borders. Also can be effective as a hedge or screen.
