‘Greenleaf' is an upright, pyramidal evergreen American holly tree that typically matures to 20-25’ tall with a spread to 10-15’ wide. It is a female cultivar which, when pollinated, is noted for its abundant crop of conical berries (drupes) which ripen to bright red in September and typically persist on the plant throughout winter. Needs a male pollinator to produce fruit. Spiny, medium green leaves are attractive year round.
