Miss Kim Lilac Syringa Patula 3 Gal

This upright, compact lilac blooms later than others, extending the season with deep purple buds that reveal clusters of highly fragrant, lavender-blue flowers. Foliage is burgundy-tinged in fall. Hardy, yet performs in southern regions, with excellent powdery mildew resistance. Great for border accent or mass planting. Deciduous.

Thrives in rich, neutral to slightly alkaline, well-drained soils. Needs good air circulation. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Supplement water before spring bloom, in absence of rainfall or snow melt. Fertilize in early spring. Prune promptly after flowering.
